The President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki, has declared his intention to contest for the office of the President.
This was contained in a tweet by his media aide, Olu W. Onemola @OnemolaOlu:
Saraki arrived at the Sheraton Hotel, Abuja, where he met with young politicians and aspirants who are interested in running for public office in 2019 under the newly signed #NotTooYoungToRun Act.
He told the youths that he had decided to answer the clarion call for the highest office in the land.
Senate President Bukola Saraki formally declared his intention to contest the presidency on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party.
