The circumstances surrounding the election of Yahaya Bello as Kogi state governor has been passed as legal by the Supreme Court.
The apex court dismissed all the appeals against the governor’s election on Tuesday.
The seven-man panel headed by Justice Sylvester Ngwata took the decision after listening to the closing statements of all the counsels.
The court also said it will provide reasons for its decision on September 30.
The governor had also defeated his predecessor, Idris Wada, and James Faleke in the Election Petitions Tribunal and the Appeal Court.
