The controversy over the 15 million dollar unexplained fund involving former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, took a new twist on Thursday.
This is as the four companies involved in the money laundering case pleaded guilty before a Federal High Court in Lagos.
Pluto Property and Investment Company Limited; Seagate Property Development and Investment Company Limited; Trans Ocean Property and Investment Company Limited; and Avalon Global Property Development Company Limited pleaded guilty to a 15-count charge before Justice Babs Kuewumi.
The trial involved Waripamo Dudafa, a former Special Adviser on Domestic Affairs to former President Goodluck Jonathan; f ormer presidential aide, Amajuoyi Azubike Briggs; and former Skye Bank official, Damola Bolodeoku.
The three individuals however pleaded not guilty before the court.
