The Senate committee on Foreign Affairs on Tuesday continued the screening of non-career ambassadorial nominees after a power outage attempted to disrupt the process.
President Muhammadu Buhari had forwarded the names of the 46 nominees to the Upper Chamber for screening and confirmation.
Light went off around noon when the process was already on which brought it to halt.
The Senators however returned to continue the screening after an endless wait for power to be restored.
The screening is ongoing at Room 324, Senate New Building at the time of filing this report
