MLS side Chicago Fire say they have agreed a deal to sign Bastian Schweinsteiger from Manchester United.
The German midfielder, 32, has reportedly signed a one-year deal, according to the Chicago Tribune newspaper.
“I’ve always sought opportunities where I hoped to make a positive impact and to help make something great,” Schweinsteiger said in a statement the Tribune said it received from the club.
