President Muhammadu Buhari would on Tuesday receive the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential nomination and expression of interest forms for the 2019 elections.
The event would hold at the new Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja at 11.30am.
The forms were said to be obtained for the President by a socio-political group, the Nigeria Consolidation Ambassadors Network (NCAN), on Wednesday.
National coordinator of the group, Mr. Sanusi Musa, told journalists in Abuja that the group could not handover the documents to the president immediately after purchase as the president was in China on official engagements.
“The president is just back, so we have not yet presented the form to the president. We are in the process of sending it. We will send it to him,” he said.
He also dismissed insinuations that the group was being financed by Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state.
He said N45 million the forms was generated through contributions made by supporters and admirers of President.
