Barely 24 hours after Minister of State for Labour, James Ocholi, his wife and son were killed in a car accident on Abuja-Kaduna expressway, the deputy governor of Yobe state, Abubakar Ali, was also also involved in a car crash along the Kaduna- Kano expressway on Monday.
According to an eye witness account, the incident occurred in Daka-Tsalle town, along the expressway.
The SUV he was travelling in reportedly had a head-on collision with a Toyota Avensus vehicle.
The accident occurred around 10 am but the deputy governor who escaped unhurt continued his trip to Kano state.
Ali travelled to Kano to condoled with Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, who lost his mother on Friday.
