President Bola Ahmed Tinubu held a closed-door meeting with the newly appointed Service Chiefs on Monday.
They are the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Olufemi Oluyede; the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Waidi Shaibu; the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Kennedy Aneke; and the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Idi Abbas.
The meeting took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The president announced a change in the military hierarchy last week. The Presidency described the appointments as a strategic move to enhance professionalism and efficiency within the armed forces.
