The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play the Desert Foxes of Algeria in the semi-finals of the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The Desert Foxes defeated Cote d’Ivoire 4-3 on penalties in the quarter-final game played on Thursday.
They had both played a 1-1 draw at regulation time.
The Super Eagles had on Wednesday night booked their place in the semi-finals by beating the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in Cairo.
They will now play their Algerian counterparts on Sunday to determine one of the teams that will make it to the final of the 32nd edition of Afcon.
