Hip Hop living legend, Shaun Correy Carter, popularly know as Jay Z, will on November 4 return to stage to rally voters for Democrat Presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton.

According to the Clinton campaign, Jay Z will campaign for the former Secretary of States in the key battleground state of Ohio.

Clinton’s website has therefore invited fans to enter a lottery for a ticket to Jay Z’s free show, which will take place in Cleveland, Ohio.

The celebrity husband of another global superstar, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter also performed in Ohio to support President Barack Obama during the 2012 election when he tinkered with his hit “99 Problems” to throw in a reference to Republican rival Mitt Romney.

Jay Z has played few shows in the past two years as he focuses on his Tidal streaming company, although he is also scheduled to perform next month in India at the Global Citizen Festival against poverty.

Jay Z, regarded as one of the richest and most successful singers in the world – with a net worth of about 520 million dollars, according Forbes 2014 rating- is not the only celebrity backing Clinton.

Another superstar, Katy Perry, has described herself as Clinton’s “number one fan.”

Miley Cyrus, the pop star known for her provocative on-stage antics, surprised university students over the weekend in another swing state, Virginia, by knocking on dormitory doors to encourage young voters to get to the polls for Clinton.

Her Republican rival, Donald Trump, has however had contrasting fortunes with famous musicians in the United States.

There is a long list of artists including the Rolling Stones and Adele who have asked the Republican candidate to stop playing their music at rallies.

Among Trump’s few musical backers are rocker and gun enthusiast, Ted Nugent, who appeared in a commercial for the billionaire, months after calling on Facebook for the execution of Obama and Clinton.
