Jaiz Bank, has been granted license to operate as a national bank, chairman of its board of directors, Alhaji Umar Abdul-Muttalab, has said,
Abdul-Muttalab said at a meeting in Abuja that the bank plans to spread its branches across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory in the next few months.
He also announced series of measures taken by the bank to contribute its quota to nation building.
In his remarks, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Saad Abubakar III commended the bank for a job well done over the years, and promised to collaborate closely with the bank.
