Arsenal teenage sensation, Alex Iwobi, has recovered from the food poisoning he suffered on Tuesday and has now been confirmed fit to play for the Super Eagles in the African Cup of Nations qualifier on Friday in Kaduna.
The Nigeria Football Federation made this confirmation through its twitter handle on Wednesday .
According to interim coach, Samson Siasia, Iwobi had missed the Eagles’ training session on Tuesday after eating salad with his team mates and suffering some complications.
Egypt is currently on top of Group G in the AFCON qualifying series with six points after beating Chad and Tanzania, while Nigeria is in the second place with four points.
Eagles will therefore need to at least bag four points in the upcoming fixtures against the Pharaohs in Kaduna and Alexandria.
