Less than 24 hours after his men arrested a close ally of President Muhammadu Buhari and APC chieftain, Brig-Gen Jafaru Isa (rtd) for alleged complicity in the $2.1 billion arms scandal, acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, was on Thursday spotted in the State House.
Magu, who came to State House at about 3:15pm, held an office flat file with EFCC logo in his right hand.
He spent less than 10 minutes in the President’s office before coming out.
Our correspondent could not immediately ascertain if he was able to see the President who was busy inaugurating the National Research and Innovation Council (NRIC) at about the same time.
Efforts by State House correspondents to interview him were rejected as he kept on saying saying: “not now, not now.”
