An Abuja Federal High Court on Friday rejected the bail application of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu.
The court said Kanu must remain in prison pending his trial for alleged treason.
Mr. Kanu has been in detention since his arrest in Lagos in October.
He was arrested in Lagos by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) for running Radio Biafra, an illegal outfit and using it to preach hate messages.
