President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday swore-in former Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Musiliu Smith, as chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC) and six others members.
The members are Clara Ogunbiyi from the north-east, representing the judicial community; retired AIG Lawal Bawa from north-west, representing the police community; and Najaatu Mohammed Najatu from the north-west.
Others are Braimoh Adogame Austin from the south-south, representing the media community; Rommy Mom from north-central, representing human rights groups; and Dr. Nkemka Jombo-Ofo from south-east.
The President also swore-in Mr. Festus Okoye as national commissioner, Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), representing south-east.
