President Muhammadu Buhari has forwarded a list of his ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation.
Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, read the President’s letter at plenary on Thursday.
According Saraki, the list comprises of 46 “career diplomats” who will be posted to the nation’s embassies and high commissions abroad upon confirmation.
No date has been fixed for the screening of the nominees.
