President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday sacked Mr. Sola Omole, Mr. Ladan Salihu, Mr. Sam Worlu, Mr. Ima Niboro, Mr. Emeka Mba and Mr. Mike Omeri as heads of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Voice of Nigeria (VON), News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) and the National Orientation Agency (NOA), respectively.
The presidential decision was announced by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed at a meeting with the affected heads of the federal government establishment.
The minister directed the sacked heads of the agencies to hand over to the most senior officials in their various establishments.
He thanked them for their service to the nation and wished them luck in their future endeavours.
