The former governor of Kano state, Mr. Ibrahim Shekarau has expressed concern over the leadership style of President Muhamnadu.
Addressing supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at his residence in Kano, the immediate past Minister of Education said the President was insensitive to the plight of ordinary Nigerians.
He said almost one year into the tenure of the present administration, Nigerians have not felt the positive impacts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) government.
“We are still waiting to see when Nigerians will start enjoying the change the APC promised. It is almost a year now after it took over power. The first quarter of the year has already passed without a working budget for our dear nation,” he said.
Shekarau said the All Progressives Congress led government has failed because the party is not addressing the problems of Nigerians.
“It is unfortunate that the APC has failed to address the abject poverty among Nigerians. Those promoting the change mantra have now ended up rewarding electorates with hunger, poverty, illiteracy and embarrassing queues at our filling stations,” he said.
