[S]uper Eagles Chief Coach, Sunday Oliseh has resigned his appointment.
He took to his Twitter Handle to break the news to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the public in the early hours of Friday.
Oliseh, who has been having a lot of controversies and misunderstandings with the NFF anchored his decision to quit the job on contract violations and unpaid wages.
The form of the Super Eagles under him has also been indifferent with many fans questioning his style and approach.
His apppointment last year by NFF had been criticised by some pundits who had expressed doubt over his coaching pedigree and capacity to manage the Super Eagles.
“Due to Contract violations, lack of support, unpaid wages, benefits to my players, assistant coaches & myself, I resign as Super Eagles Chief Coach,” he tweeted.
Earlier he had tweeted, “I feel fortunate, blessed and eternally grateful for having had the honour to Play, Captain & Coach this great Nation of ours, Nigeria.”
Last week, the NFF Executive Committee had after its meeting in Abuja imposed some fresh conditions on Oliseh after overlooking his outbursts on the social media.
The Board had directed him to report to the Technical Department and former Coach of the Super Eagles, Shuaibu Amodu.
His Personal Assistant, Tijani Babangida, was also fired.
