The Council of Legal Education has disclosed that a total 720 intending lawyers failed the April 2016 Bar final exam.
This was out of a total of 3, 056 candidates who sat for the exam.
According a statement signed by the Director General of the Nigerian Law School, Mr. O. A. Onadeko, the result reflected 23.6 per cent failure
A breakdown of the result showed that whereas a total of 2, 232 of the candidates passed the Bar final resit examination, representing 73.0 per cent, 104 candidates secured conditional pass representing 3.4 per cent.
The Call to Bar ceremonies for the successful candidates will according to the statement hold on July 12 in Abuja.
