Nigerian Hip Hop legend, Innocent Idibia aka 2face, has threatened to sue his ex-band mate, Augustine Ahmedu aka Blackface, to court over series of allegedly defamatory remarks made about him recently.

In a letter from his lawyers, Seun Omotoba&Co, Tuface gave Blackface  a week notice to apologise for the uncomplimentary remarks or face defamation suit.

Tuface’s lawyers also asked Blackface to desist from making any further defamatory remarks about their client.

Blackface had recently alleged that Tuface infringed on his copyright by releasing the song ‘Let Somebody Love You’ and “African Queen”  which he wrote and for which he has not been compensated.

Blackface had also vowed to sue Tuface to reclaim his rights.

The dancehall artiste co-founded  Plantashun Boiz in  2000 alongside Tuface and  Chibuzor Oji popularly called Faze Alone.

Blackface and Tuface had first met in 1996 while schooling at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) in Enugu before Faze Alone joined them.
