Chelsea manager Antonio Conte and Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino have been nominated for the Premier League’s Manager of the Month award.

Spurs continue to keep the heat on Conte’s men in the top flight title race after a perfect April. Indeed, Pochettino’s men capped a fine month with victory over bitter rivals Arsenal at White Hart Lane to ensure they will finish above the Gunners for the first time since 1995.

Tottenham won all six of their league fixtures, conceding once, and need just one point to be certain of Champions League qualification for a second straight season.

Despite two defeats in April, Chelsea maintained composure to remain four points clear of Pochettino’s side with four games to play. The Blues recorded particularly impressive victories over Manchester City and Everton and look set to win a second title in three seasons.

Both Pochettino and Conte are up against Hull City boss Marco Silva, Leicester’s Craig Shakespeare and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

Hull pulled themselves out of the relegation places with wins over Watford, Middlesbrough and West Ham, while an impressive point at Southampton last month kept them two points clear of the drop.

Meanwhile, United remain unbeaten in the League since October and Mourinho enjoyed victory over his former employers at Old Trafford in April; Leicester’s revival under Shakespeare continues.
