The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, was on Thursday conferred with the honourary title of Jagaban Adamawa by the Lamido of Adamawa, Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa.

Jagaban Adamawa means front-runner of Adamawa.

Osinbajo, who was in the state to commission some of the state government’s projects, accepted the honour with gratitude while extending greetings from President Muhamadu Buhari to his “in-laws.”

The President’s wife, Aisha Buhari, hails from Adamawa state.

Osinbajo’s spokesman, Laolu Akande, also said in tweet that the honour was consummated with “a colourful presentation of a horse.”

The President and Vice President also had two of the roads that were commissioned named after them.
