ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC added yet another record to his name when he created Premier League history at the King Power Stadium.

The Swedish striker netted towards the end of the first half against Leicester City, that meant he became the top-flight’s oldest player to score 15 goals.

His strike that nestled in the bottom right-hand corner was his 20th goal in all competitions this season for the Red Devils.

At 35 years, 125 days Ibrahimovic is now the oldest player to hit 15 strikes in the top flight, and is on course to become the oldest person to score 20 in the Premier League.

He has been revelation since joining last summer on a free transfer from French side Paris Saint-Germain, and could win his first piece of silverware with the Red Devils later this month.

Manchester United face Southampton in the EFL Cup final at Wembley on February 26 where the former Barcelona man is likely to lead the line.

Today’s goal helped his side secure the all important three points at the home of last season’s champions, as they convincingly won 3-0.

Jose Mourinho‘s men are now back in the hunt for Champions league qualification as they trail fourth-placed Arsenal by just five points.

The win today also stopped a run of three consecutive draws in the league.
