Nollywood diva, Angela Okorie, has threatened to sue controversial blogger, Kemi Olunloyo, for writing that she had an affair with former Gambian leader, Yahya Jammeh.

Angela who is currently filming in the US declared her readiness to go after Olunloyo with the full force of law if she continues to accuse her unjustly.

“Next time she opens her mouth wide again and the sewage spews out, my lawyers will go fast and hard after her.  The law, the court, is the only way to put a mad dog on a leash,” she threatened.

Olunloyo had alleged that  Angela received $1.5m from the $11m the former president allegedly stole in the dying days of his administration.

These allegations did not go down well with the actress as she has threatened to sue the controversial blogger the next time she accused her wrongly.

Angela, in her statement on Friday, dismissed Olunloyo’s claim, saying it was false, baseless and the ranting of a “lunatic”.

She described the US-trained journalist as “an attention seeker who preys on celebrities.”

“I have heard a bit about her. I decided to do a full background check and behold, I saw a whole lot of garbage. I discovered she makes a sport of badmouthing prominent people,” she said.

Okorie clarified that she wasn’t the only celebrity who visited Gambia in 2016.

“The Gambian trip was not a solo trip.  It was an industry outing that involved about ten showbiz personalities, including Emmanuel Ehumadu, Walter Anger, Klint de Drunk, I Go Save, Sharon Francis, Prince Eke, Sandra Onyeka, Moyo Lawal and Mr. Patrick,” Angela said.

Kemi Olunloyo, 53, who is the daughter of former governor of Oyo state, Victor Omololu Olunloyo, is not a stranger to controversy.

She has had running battles with both her dad and prominent figures like Olusegun Obasanjo, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Jide Kosoko, Linda Ekeji and many others.

She was once disowned by her dad. She once accused some Nigerian politicians including Obasanjo of being occultic. She also accused Jide Kosoko of ritual-killing some of his wives while she recently wrote that Linda Ekeji once collected 240 million naira from Sambo Dasuki and that her 600 million naira house in Banana Island, Lagos was collected as bribe from a former Presidential aide, for killing a story.

The trained pharmacist and single mother once accused Pastor Adeboye of killing a police man in 1971 when the preacher told his congregation that single motherhood was ungodly.
